Lovejoy Releases Knockout New Song “With Rob As My Witness”!!
The day has finally arrived, fellow Lovenjoyers! Lovejoy is back in a MASSIVE way with their latest single, titled “With Rob As My Witness”! Part of their debut album predicted to drop in early fall, “Rob” packs a banger one-two punch, with an infectious chorus, catchy riffs, and a bassline handed down from the indie-rock gods.
Planning your stream-a-palooza? Me too! The first 24-48 hours of Rob’s release will be absolutely mission critical - this is when Industry People™ take note of songs with a large number of streams, shares, and additions to playlists. It's extra helpful to run some of your Rob plays through official, platform-created playlists (we have a bunch for you below).

What’s up? I’m stoked to hang out with you each month as a part of this podcast!
I’ve been active in the Lovejoy online community since fall of 2022. I joined in order to get the latest touring dates and music drops, and discovered a desire to “pay it forward” by providing a positive, reassuring influence in a young fanbase. Hopefully I’ve been successful! I’ve been fortunate enough to find my fellow “elder” Lovenjoyers and forge lifelong friendships as a result.
In September of 2024, I took the reins of the Lovejoy Wiki Fandom site (shameless plug: link below, check it out). This repository of Lovejoy information had been collecting dust for a year, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to give it a major makeover. Wikis, by nature, are a community effort, and there’s still so much to do, so please reach out if you want to help – I’d love to have you on the team!
Planning creative ways to reach and connect with people is one of my jams. In a previous (and somewhat more professional) era of my life, I wrote and edited a quarterly, nationwide publication related to the dairy industry. (This is probably where I tell you that I live in the Land of Cheese, aka Wisconsin - I am thankful that Lovejoy seems to like nearby Milwaukee.)
Lately, I’m busy with stuff like chauffeuring my 13-year-old to bass guitar and karate lessons, preparing for my 18-year-old’s graduation, planning the occasional family vacation, and all the other details that come with trying to keep our family of four semi-organized.
